Operational Support

Unchartered Educational Network helps schools to identify operational teams and tasks, clearly separating the instructional from the non-instructional, which allows a schools instructional leadership to focus exclusively on what is happening in classrooms (e.g., observing teacher instructional and behavior management practices, interfacing with students’ families, and analyzing assessment data), while the school operations team takes care of the rest.
Operational support provides guidance in analyzing the use of resources across operations and instruction to identify areas where new systems and methods could impact teacher effectiveness, like tracking student attendance and behavior. U.E.N. helps with creating an operational aptitude that will assist building efficient and effective systems to ensure that the maximum amount of resources can be focused on student impact. This is made possible by developing a school's capacity to designate staff to:
-
Oversee non-instructional aspects of school operations, including facilities, transportation, and student enrollment.
-
Ensure school-wide compliance with critical health and safety laws, charter contracts, state education mandates, and teacher certification regulations.
